Parents have Questions and Parents have Answers

You have had a hard week, Janey won't behave at school, Johnny wants a later curfew. You don't know what to do. Is anybody else out there dealing with what you are? Parents are the best people to get advice from for parents. A group of peers is a wonderful thing. We can learn from each other and help each other.

Making home Bible Study fun.

I would like to raise our children to be on fire for the Lord. What can we do at home to make bible study interesting to our children and not a chore?
~ Charity A.

Comments:
We play games. One big hit is we will do a memory verse and sit in a circle and everybody say one word. It teaches them the entire verse because we never start in the same place and it makes it fun.
I also on a rainy day will print out sheets that are word finds and such.(which will be posted on site this fall{2006}).
We talk about the scripture and about how things were in the time frame. Making it a story instead of just someting they have to read.
