Respect For Life

~ Faith Johnson

There is a moral problem going on around the world. The lack of respect for life. Women and girls murder their unborn children without a thought, doctors don’t give the best treatment to the elderly cause they only have a few more years left, and scientists think they are gods that can reproduce life.

Call me eccentric or ultra conservative. These things should not be going on.

(Colossians 1:16 For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. )

God created all humans, and we should not take each other’s lives. Life is a gift from God and there is no problem in which He and Christ’s salvation cannot solve.

(1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.)

Doesn’t matter if you are pregnant with an unexpected pregnancy, if you feel hopeless from problems in your life and feel you need to end it, or if you are a doctor and your patient is 99 years old. It doesn’t matter, all life is valuable and important to God. You must lean on Him in order to make it through life’s troubles.

We must also be sure to teach our children the value of life. Abortion is wrong, Cruelty is wrong, Suicide is wrong, Mercy Killing is wrong, being involved in things that cause death, and anger and hatred are all wrong.

Okay, so as parents you want to know how you can protect your children and teach your children how life is sacred.

Do these few things.

Most of all Children learn by example. If you have a respect for life and are open in talking about life issues your children will have a better understanding.
