Our Source...
This is a thought that I have been reminding myself of alot lately. All the media coverage on the economy and the bailouts and everything. It can be really scary.It's been on my mind since June when we found out that where my husband works was doing a buy out and if enough people didn't do the buyout then there would be layoffs. The buyout deadline has passed and now, we wait for the layoffs which are scheduled for January 1st.
Five years ago I would be terrified. But now, as I have grown in my relationship with God, I know we will be okay. God is our Provider, He is our Source.
As Christians we are to look to God for our needs. Just as the Lord provided for the Israelites during the Exodus, He will provide for us.
We are however to be good stewards of all that he has given us. Spend wisely, budget, use our time and talents wisely.
