Vol. 2009 Issue 07 ~ July

~ Elisabeth Corcoran

Happy summer, ladies! This isn’t going to be a typical column…I’m just going to share some news-y things with you this month.

I leave in a few days for my second trip to Africa, this time to Liberia. I am taking 6 women to serve alongside Samaritan’s Purse’s HIV/AIDS program in their capital, Monrovia, and in a small northern village called Foya. We are going to do home visits, put on a kids’ camp for orphaned and vulnerable children, and do some repair work on a church that still bears the bullet hole marks of their civil war that ended six years ago. Heavy stuff. We’ll be gone June 14-22 and we would appreciate your prayers. I’m sure I’ll come back with more Africa stories.

I’m thrilled to say that I will have new material coming soon – hopefully mid-fall. It’s a collection of essays about the love and faithfulness of our God entitled He Is Just That Into You. The tentative cover is attached. I’ll get more details out when it gets closer to being ready.

Also, I’d love to come and speak at your women’s or mother’s group, so I’m listing my topics here:
