Thanks - Giving

~ Nana

Did you ever think of thanking the Lord for all the things that bug you, cause you trouble, make you worry and just plain drive you up the wall?

This may be a new way of looking at things.

Thank the Lord for dirty diapers, messy spills, fingerprints and childhood ills. This means the Lord has blessed you with a miracle of new life.

Thank the Lord for kids who fight, yell at each other, and make you worry at night. This means the Lord has blessed you with a healthy family.

Thank the Lord for dirty dishes, you must have had something to eat.

Thank the Lord for piles of dirty laundry, baskets of ironing and not enough closet space, you must have clothes to wear.

Thank the Lord for high gas prices, roads under construction, and discourteous drivers, seems like you have a vehicle to drive.

Thank the Lord for heating bills, you must be staying warm.

Thank the Lord for noisy neighbors, barking dogs, sound systems going BOOM Ba Boom boom, you must have hearing.

Thank the Lord for sore feet, blisters on your heals, tired legs; you must be able to walk.

Thank the Lord for frustration at work, the fellow employee who is a jerk because this means you have a job.

I hope you get the point. You could have no problems and no blessings.

"...always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." Eph 5:20

May Jesus bless you real good, He loves you and I do, too,
Nana
