Mothers always teach your children
how to love and never to hate.
This should be no matter what their age.
Teach them always to forgive.
This is some things Jesus always did.
Teach them the value of telling the truth.
Even when it's hard to do.
Teach them how they need to repent.
After each and every sin.
But the most important lesson that they need to know,
is how much Jesus loves them so.

Teach a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6

My name is Jean Gebhard I am 34 years old and live in Boyertown Pa. I've been married for 11 years and have three children. I wrote the poem "Mothers Teach Your Children" to remind parents what the Lord really wants us to teach our children. We owe it to them to guide them and teach them strong moral values that will remain with them throughout their entire lives. When children are taught strong moral values they are much more likley to be better adults.
